| Business Process |
Procurement - Procurement of orders in the NTE system begins with customer demand. Orders usually arrive electronically and the NTE system then converts these customer orders into requisitions orders. Procurement is a complex process and is usually highly manual. NTE procurement allows the user to capture all customer order data, generate requisitions for product, and then begin the process of fulfilling these requisitions. You will be able to track on-time customer delivery of the final product once you have included these customer orders into the system. |
Inventory Planning - NTE Suite can be used to determine if current inventory levels are sufficient to complete new requisition orders. Rules can be built for automatically releasing product based on customer needs and minimum in-stock levels. NTE Suite can generate inventory orders or purchase orders depending on these rules. Tracking the movement of products through the procurement process will help you plan for future product needs and allow your suppliers to understand your buying habits. |
Order Fulfillment - Customer, requisition, inventory and purchase orders are fulfilled by different trading partners. NTE Suite allows you to manage these partners and track how quickly they respond to order requirements. Suppliers are notified when new purchase orders exist and you are notified when the supply releases the product. Released product is then converted into a shippable freight order. |
